ONLINE PURCHASES POLICY

Returns

  • Full-price items:  Eligible for refund or store credit/exchange.

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of purchase.

  • Discounted purchases (sale items, flash sales, discounts): Eligible for return for store credit/exchange only.

  • Final Sale:
    Some sale items may be marked as final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. This will be clearly noted on the product page at the time of purchase.

  • Note: Welcome codes are eligible for a refund.

  • Eligibility: Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags and packaging intact.

  • Shoes: Must be tried on soft surfaces; no scuff marks or scratches accepted.

  • Returns are at the expense of the customer. Return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

Exchanges (Online Orders)

We don’t offer direct exchanges, but we’ve made the process easy:

  • Once you inform us of the item you'd like to exchange, we’ll email you a prepaid return label.

  • Upon receiving your return, we’ll issue you a store credit.

  • You can use the store credit to reorder your preferred size or style at your convenience.

  • The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your store credit, based on the actual postage cost at the time of return.

  • We’ll cover the cost of sending out your new item.

  • Due to limited stock, we can’t always guarantee availability of the item. If there’s something you’ve got your eye on, let us know, and we’ll do our best to hold it for 48 hours.


Swimwear and Intimate Items

  • No Returns or Exchanges: For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on swimwear, unless the item is defective or damaged.

Jewellery

  • Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene reasons. Please choose carefully.

Skin and Body Care

  • Used or opened skin or body care products cannot be returned or refunded due to hygiene reasons. 
  • We offer a 14-day return for unused and unopened skincare and body products, provided they are in original condition with any seals or packaging intact.


    Returns Process:  

    To initiate a return and ensure a smooth process, please follow these steps:
    1. Contact Us for Authorisation: Please email us at returns@gypsyandthemuseco.com to request return authorisation. In your email, include your order number, the reason for the return, and any relevant details.
    2. Receive Prepaid Packing Slip: If your return is approved, we will send you a prepaid packing slip with tracking. Simply print the packing slip, affix it to the package, and post it. Our bags are resealable for your convenience.
    3. Package the Item: Ensure the item is safely packaged and protected to prevent any damage during transit. Please include all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
    4. Post the Package: Simply drop off your package at your nearest post office or post box. The prepaid packing slip will cover all necessary shipping costs.
    5. Confirmation and Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or issue store credit. You will receive a confirmation email when this is completed.
    Please note that the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

    Additional Information:

    • Quality Review: Returned items will undergo a quality review. Upon clearance, you will receive your replacement item, store credit, or a refund of the purchase price.

    • Processing Time: Refunds are processed promptly but may take up to 5 working days to complete.

    • Condition of Items: We reserve the right to refuse any return that is not in its original condition. Returns outside the specified timeframe will be sent back at the sender's cost, and damaged items will not be accepted.
    Gift Vouchers & Credit Notes:
    • Please note that gift vouchers and credit notes are non-refundable and valid for 3 years from the date of issue

     

    IN-STORE RETURNS POLICY

    In-store Returns:

    You have 14 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. Refunds are available exclusively for faulty items. For non-faulty items, such as items returned due to a change of mind, we offer the option of a store credit or exchange.

    Faulty Items: 

    If you receive a faulty item, we will gladly provide a refund within the specified timeframe.

    Please note: Some sale items may be marked as final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange, unless deemed faulty. These items will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.

    For items returned for reasons other than being faulty, such as a change of mind, we offer the choice of a store credit or exchange. The item must be in its original sellable condition as per our policy guidelines.
